The crew

No Apologies is Ashley‘s second documentary. The impetus behind this project was to record history in the making – Australia was putting forward two Indigenous female footballers to the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

A self-confessed Swindon Town FC supporter, Ashley is part of the Foxsports Australia A-League commentary team, has his own weekly sports radio show in Perth and runs his own media company.

A devotee to all things Apple and Mac related (that includes the Big Mac variety), Chris is the lead camera on No Apologies. Chris was the cameraman for Standing at the Touchlines and his dry humour and easy going nature is what nabbed him this job.His 6ft4″ height and frame is very useful when there are lots of things to carry around but not very useful when sitting in a long haul economy class seat.

The smallest of the crew, Quie Ying managed to out eat both Chris and Ashley at Nairobi’s famous Carnivore Restaurant.

She has been nick named “short stop” and is affectionately called Camera Two a role she will continue on No Apologies. Her device of choice is the Canon 60D.
